Welcoming place that engages each child.
Our Secondary 1 individualised English Enrichment syllabus based on the MOE requirements has been extremely successful with students gaining excellent results. At the Language Learner the teacher interacts and assists each student to develop a sound mastery of the tasks at hand in Editing, Visual Text, Comprehension and Composition. The teacher does this by systematically building on the student’s existing knowledge to achieve optimal growth in order to lead the learning process to a higher level.
Comprehension and Composition skills are taught through a variety of instructional techniques to move students progressively towards stronger understanding and, ultimately greater independence in the learning process. Providing successive levels of support that helps students to reach higher levels of answering Comprehension questions with much accuracy.
Composition writing instruction for a population of diverse learners may sound difficult; but at The Language Learner the individualised approach has a strong scaffolding process that allows teachers to organize and assist writing activities systematically to meet the needs of each student.
